📖 THE STORY
Once upon a time, in the middle of a big, sunny meadow, stood a very old and very strong tree named Oliver the Oak. Oliver was famous for being the sturdiest tree around. He had deep roots that held him tight to the earth and many, many thick, twisty branches that reached high up into the blue sky. Oliver loved providing shade for all the small animals. The squirrels loved racing up and down his rugged bark, and birds enjoyed building cozy nests hidden among his thousands of green leaves. Sometimes, children would come and have picnics right under his wide branches, laughing and playing. Oliver felt very happy to be the grand guardian of the meadow, watching over everyone with his peaceful, leafy embrace.
🎨 COLORING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Main Character: For Oliver the Oak, use a warm, dark brown for his strong trunk and big branches. Then, grab your favorite greens—maybe a mix of lime green and forest green—to color his huge canopy of leaves!

  • Background Elements: For the soft grass and rolling hills in the distance, use bright, cheerful greens. If you see tiny wildflowers, make them pop with colors like purple, yellow, and red!

  • Sky & Ground: Color the big sky a lovely, clear blue and leave the clouds bright white. For the ground right under the tree, add some earth tones like light brown or tan near his roots.

  • Fun Art Challenge: Can you draw a little squirrel holding an acorn on one of Oliver's lower branches?
