Deep beneath the sparkling blue ocean waves lived a friendly little yellow submarine named Sammy. Sammy had big round windows that looked like wide, curious eyes and a bright periscope that loved spinning in circles. Every morning, Sammy hummed a cheerful bubbling tune as his propeller spun, pushing him gently through the warm water toward the sandy seabed.

Down on the ocean floor, amazing wonders were waiting to be explored. Bright pink starfish waved from soft sandy hills, curly green seaweed danced to the ocean currents, and a pair of playful fish darted through bubbly coral reefs. Sammy turned on his gentle glowing headlights to illuminate the hidden treasures nestled among the smooth sea stones and bumpy shells.

Whenever Sammy met a friendly sea creature, he blew a stream of giant giggly bubbles from his engine. A smiling sea turtle swam beside him, giving a slow flipper-wave as they cruised along the underwater ridges together. For Sammy and his ocean friends, every dive to the sea floor was a magical journey filled with friendship, curiosity, and colorful discoveries.

  • Main Character:

    • Try a bright sunshine yellow or vivid sky blue for the submarine's main hull to make it pop like a cheerful explorer.

    • Color the round porthole windows with a soft turquoise or light cyan to give them a glass-like shine!

  • Background Elements:

    • Bring the sea floor to life by coloring the coral reefs with vibrant magenta, warm orange, or lime green.

    • Give the sea plants and kelp deep emerald and forest green tones, and pick bright purple or coral red for starfish and friendly fish.

  • Sky & Ground:

    • For the deep ocean water background, use a smooth wash of sea-blue, teal, or gentle aquamarine.

    • Fill the sandy ocean floor with a warm golden sand or soft tan color.

  • Fun Art Challenge:

    • Can you draw a few extra floating air bubbles or a tiny smiling hermit crab hiding next to one of the sea rocks?
